The City of Pittsburgh Department of Public Works is seeking input and feedback from community members about proposed improvements to Jack Stack Playground. Please see the exhibit below for a conceptual view of the proposed improvements.

Please note: The design has an emphasis on inclusive and accessible play and includes various types of ground features, climbing options, spinning, sensory stimulation, and swings that will allow for many forms of play.

The scope of work above showcases what is being focused on at this time. The area where we will be updating the playground equipment to new furnishings and installing new safety surfacing is highlighted in yellow above. A new ADA accessible pathway/ramp connecting the existing parking lot to the new playground is shown with the blue dotted line. Finally, new ADA parking spaces will be added to the existing parking lot for ease of access.
