OnTheMap

The US Census Bureau OnTheMap tool explores local employment dynamics including share of jobs, share of workers, and commuting distances by geography.


Diversity Index

The US Census Bureau Diversity Index tells us how likely two people chosen at random will be from different race and ethnicity groups. A value of 0 indicates that everyone in the population has the same racial and ethnic background. A value close to 100 indicates that almost everyone in the population has different racial and ethnic characteristics.


American Community Survey estimates for Pittsburgh Neighborhoods

This University of Pittsburgh data set and report published information on demographics, education, commuting, and earnings by neighborhood.


Child Opportunity Index

This interactive map displays child opportunity by census tract. The Child Opportunity index measures the quality of resources and conditions that foster healthy development for children. COI scores are calculated using 44 indicators in three broad categories – education, health and environment, and social and economic.

This dashboard displays information on known City of Pittsburgh steps in the public Right-of-Way.


Pittsburgh Crash Data Dashboard

This dashboard displays information on reportable crash data in Pittsburgh from the jurisdictions of Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and Pennsylvania State Police.
