Project Description
This project is the construction of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Centre Avenue and North Dithridge Street in the City of Pittsburgh’s North Oakland neighborhood. This project is funded through PennDOT's 2025 ARLE (Automated Red Light Enforcement Transportation Enhancements Grant) program and will replace the two-way stop control in place today. The new signal will include:
- Strain poles
- Pedestrian countdown signals
- Leading pedestrian intervals
- Accessible pedestrian signals
- 12" LED vehicular signal heads with backplates
- New painted bump outs
- LED streetlighting
