Program Description
The Department of Mobility and Infrastructure is installing transit shelters for our 2025 Transit Stop Improvement Program. This program allows for the construction of new sidewalk to accommodate a bus shelter at locations where there is currently insufficient sidewalk. Locations that meeting the 'Location Criteria' below but do not meet the 'Sidewalk Space Requirements' are eligible for this program. Locations that meet both sets of criteria can accommodate a bus shelter as is, and requests for shelter at these locations should be submitted through 311.
