We'll be holding the first public design workshop for this project on Monday, April 13th from 4:30 to 7:30 at the Homewood-Brushton YMCA (7140 Bennett Street in Homewood South). This will be an open house and you don't need to stay the entire time.

At this workshop, we'll have maps of a few key sets of City-owned property, and we'll have options of what can feasibly be built on each. These options will be shaped by the Homewood Comprehensive Community Plan and the Operation Better Block Cluster Plans. We'll also ask about what development would need to include to incentivize the use of the Brushton Station (like better sidewalks / lighting between the development site and the future Brushton Station), as well as how buildings would generally look from the outside.

We'll have food and drinks on hand. We will also be out and about in the community collecting feedback if you can't make it, and we will keep this project page updated so you can provide feedback on your own time.
