Bhutanese Community Association of Pittsburgh (BCAP) is a community nonprofit organization based in Brentwood and serves a population of over 7000 former Bhutanese refugees from Nepal and other immigrant and refugee groups in the south of Pittsburgh. BCAP is here representing Nepali speaking Bhutanese American and Nepalese American in the parade. The parade brings out the fact that our community consists of smaller linguistic and cultural groups within, and are displaying each group's diverse ethnic costumes, walking and performing in a Nepali music. Bhutan is mostly mountainous but also has beautiful hills and plains. It has four main ethnic and linguistic groups. The government concocted national policies in late 1980s targeting Nepali speaking Bhutanese citizens living in the southern part of the country, eventually forcing them into exile and never took or allowed them back. A small section of that exiled group of people are here in the parade, carrying the national flag, together with the flag of Nepal, the country that gave refuge to more than 120,000 people that fled the persecution from Bhutan Government in early 1990, for nearly two decades and have called Pittsburgh their home since 2008.

Hazaras Cultural Center of Pittsburgh represents Hazara-Americans and Hazaras originally from Afghanistan living in Allegheny County. There about 70 households that constitute around 300 individuals who have been resettled in Pittsburgh mostly since 2021. Afghanistan is a multi ethnic a diverse country. Hazaras are one of the majore ethnic groups along with Tajiks, Pashtuns, Uzbeks. Persian-Dari and Pashto are the two official languages.
