In order to provide more space for EMS vehicles to bypass traffic along the corridor, we’ve made the following revisions to the North Ave Signals and Safety Project:

• Parking restrictions: This will not impact existing parking along the corridor. The proposed changes include removing a portion of the parking we planned to add on the southern side of North Ave (along the park). Specific locations are shown on the exhibit below.
• Bumpout/median revisions: The bumpouts and median areas have been adjusted to provide more space for EMS vehicles to bypass traffic at the intersections at Sandusky and Cedar. These adjustments are shown in red on the exhibit below.
• PRT Bus Stop modifications: Bus stops at Sandusky and Cedar have been modified to prevent bus blockages/queuing at these intersections. These revisions have been coordinated with the PRT. More information about these stop modifications is provided in the exhibit below.
