Navigating Expectations - Questionnaire

In preparation for future engagements, we're asking interested participants to complete a questionnaire to better understand your expectations for this engagement process. We have asked the owner and developer of the site to do the same. Our intention for this exercise is to help gain a better understanding of the roles, perspectives, and responsibilities of both the developer and the community in order to work towards a place of clarity and collaboration.

Your responses will help inform and guide the discussion for future community meetings.

Project Description

This page includes information on the development of Pennley Park South “Block B” at the former Penn Plaza site in East Liberty.

Block B is the next and final phase of the overall site master plan for Pennley Park South. It follows the development and completion of Block A in 2022, containing Whole Foods, and Block C, containing the renovated Enright Park.

In recognition of the mass displacement of former residents who called the Penn Plaza apartments home and the community's ongoing interest in the site's redevelopment, the Department of City Planning and District 9 City Councilman Khari Mosley’s Office, in collaboration with local community stakeholders, are working to inform, engage, and prepare residents as the owner/developer LG Realty Advisors, Inc. proceeds with development plans for Block B.
