A public art project is currently being planned for the Manchester neighborhood. This project will be funded by the City's Percent For Art program. Project updates and opportunities for engagement will be posted to this page as the project develops.
Process and Next Steps
In the first few months of 2025, prior to determining any project details, the City will gather preliminary input from the community, via online and in-person survey.
A community meeting will be held, in coordination with several local community organizations, where the City will present information about this project, and the community will have the opportunity to offer feedback and help to determine the goals and scope of the project.
After this community, the City will utilize the initial community feedback to create a Call For Artists. Then, working with community representatives, an artist or artist group will be selected for this project.
Next steps
The selected artist will then begin their community engagement, information gathering, and concept development for a community-centered public artwork.
