On Friday evening, January 24th, our Vision Zero Fatal Crash Response Team conducted a site visit at Paulson an Rowan, after a fatal vehicular crash that occurred on January 11th.

The team assessed the intersection and based on the walk-through, the City will be making the following near-term adjustments:

• Advance curve warning sign and pavement markings approaching the curve.
• Advisory speed limit sign of 15 MPH at the bend.
• Chevron signs along the curve for increased visibility.

These infrastructure updates are intended to enhance awareness that the roadway curves at the intersection of Rowan St. and Paulson Ave. and prepare drivers to navigate the turn at lower speeds.
