Welcome!

The City of Pittsburgh is home to some of the most diverse and well-maintained parks in the country. The City, in close partnership with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, operates and maintains approximately 3,800 acres of land across 176 parks. These spaces include 5 regional parks, 10 community parks, 5 riverside parks, and over 150 neighborhood parks.

For more detailed information about Pittsburgh parks, including locations and photos, visit the City's Park Page below:

The information on this page is to keep community members informed of ongoing park and playground enhancements led by the City's Department of Public Works and City Planning.

Provide Your Feedback

A vital component to every project is the input and feedback from our residents. Before a park or playground project can begin, the Department of Public Works provides residents a chance to tell us what they value when it comes to their community spaces. This feedback helps guide the process and direction of each project.

Missed an Opportunity to Provide Feedback?

If you happened to miss the feedback window on a specific project, or there's a park/playground that isn't listed, scroll down to the interactive map where you can pinpoint specific areas of interest throughout the city.
